Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Domminus collects through this website, for what purpose it is used, and what rights you have as a data subject.

Last updated: October 18, 2026

1. Who we are

Domminus ("we", "us") is the controller responsible for the personal data collected through the domminus.pt website. For any question related to this policy or your personal data, you can contact us at contacto@domminus.pt or by phone at +351 934 731 623.

2. What data we collect

We collect the data you provide directly when filling in the contact forms or expressing interest in a product: name, work email, company (optional), type of solution you need, and the message you write. We do not request or store sensitive, financial or payment data through this website.

3. Cookies and local storage

This website uses one technical cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) solely to remember the language you chose (Portuguese or English), so you don't have to select it on every visit. Your light/dark theme preference is stored only in your browser (localStorage), never sent to our servers or shared with third parties. We do not use advertising, social media or third-party analytics/tracking cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated before any such change takes effect.

4. Purpose and legal basis for processing

Data submitted through the forms is used exclusively to respond to your contact request, quote request or expression of interest, based on taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Technical browsing data automatically collected by the hosting infrastructure (such as IP address and browser type) is processed based on our legitimate interest in ensuring the security, stability and correct operation of the website (Article 6(1)(f)).

5. Who we share your data with

We use service providers that process data on our behalf, as processors, only to the extent necessary for the website to function: Vercel, for hosting and delivery of the website, and Resend, for sending the messages submitted through the contact forms by email. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Retention period

Messages submitted through the forms are kept only for as long as necessary to respond to your request and, where applicable, to comply with legal obligations or for evidentiary purposes in the event of a dispute, after which they are deleted.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to request portability of the data you provided us. You can exercise these rights at any time via contacto@domminus.pt. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt.

8. Security

We adopt appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the personal data entrusted to us against unauthorized access, loss or improper disclosure.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or as required by law. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
